Math

Hey, i am in Math B. I want to tell you about how to solve absolute value inequalities. When i first learned about it i thought it was going to be impossible. First i will give an example of an inequality: /y+3/+5=2y. The first thing you have to do is Isolate the absolute vale on one side; /y+3/=2y-5, this is what you would get.Then you would have to create two derived equations; /y+3/=2y-5 and /y+3/=-(2y-5). After this you have to solve for the unknown. Finally you check for extraneous roots. Learning this was fairly easy, i am glad i learned it.If you want more info just go here.

My week *zZz*

It was hectic. The moment school was over i had to go to a track meet at Pratt College. I had to run a 200m; that's once around. I came in first and i was really happy about it. I came home like at........um i think around 9-10 o'clock. Then on Saturday I had another track meet at 8 am. it was only one race, but sadly we came in 4th, i was so mad. I didn't have to stay long, i left the armory at about 9:30. I reached home at 11 o'clock. Then i had to get ready to go to church to practice for our Christmas service on Sunday(today). After that i was suppose to go to my guitar lessons but i decided not to and stay at the church. We decorated until 6pm; my cousin and i and some other Sunday school children....though not all of them helped. Finally today i had fun. i enjoyed church, even though the snow made a lot of people not come. I had food and cake so i'm all good....well i am really tired i didn't even get to do my home work until 5 today....i am even tired while doing this :(

Horrible :(

I had track yesterday. i did horribly. i hate it. i came in dead last, and that was the only race i had to run too. It was 1000m; 5 laps around the armory. Well i had some set backs too so i'm not all mad. For one my leg was hurting and my side, then i had to keep holding up my pants while running because i thought it would fall. I fell bad as it is and not i have a cold. Every time i done running i always start sneezing and couching. I hope i get well soon.

Track at the Armory

I had track again today. from the last time i was less nervous. like the last time though i ran 2 races. the first one was a 300m. it is basically around the track one then an extra 100m. it was actually not bad. i was in the 5th race lane one for the 300. so i was watching the other people who were in lane one before me and thought that it was unfair because they were always in the back. but when it was my turn i came in second; not to seem mean but those before me were probably didn't run fast. The second race i ran was a relay. we were suppose to run a 4 by 4; each person goes around the track twice before giving the other person the baton, but since one of our members was late we missed the race and had to do the 4 by 8; around the track FOUR TIMES before we give the baton. but i was really happy we did the 4 by 8 and not the 4 by 4 because in the 4 by 8 we came in first. We were like a lap ahead of everyone....it was totally AWESOME!!! If we had did the 4 by 4 i do not think we would have been first......everything happen for a reason :)

Track-indoor

I had a track meet on sunday. it was fun. i think in all i came in 12th place because it's based on time. so i guess i wasn't fast enough. but it's not to worry i have another one next sunday so i will try my best. i hope everyone roots for me. before i wanted to quit track but it's ok now... i am back on track. so when i am feeling down i just got to hang in there because it doesn't always last long. so i will do ok.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so much fun. Mommy was in the kitchen cooking while I was cleaning up my room and packing away my clothes. we finally got our couches so it was really cool. it's a new house so don't worry. when everybody came it was real fun. My cousins from New Jersey came; one with her child and the other two around my age, 12 and 16. Then my aunt and cousins came too; one was 22 and the other one was 14 turning 15 this month. We watched twilight and took pictures. I had a lot of fun on Thanksgiving. I was Thankful for everything i had.

New Moom

Today i went to the movies. i went to see New Moon, that twilight serious. i never watch the first one; this one was my first. i enjoyed it though, it was really interesting. i really think she would look good with Jake, but its better that she with the vampire. i really enjoyed it. i went to see at Court Street. i even saw my friends from my old school too. we talked a little. they had just come out from the movie i was going to watch. they told me not to go because the ending was wack. i thought it was good because it left me wanting to see the next one that comes out even thought i never watched the first. maybe that was why they ended it like that so that people who never saw the first one would like it even though.
